Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Disposal (WEEE)
Eventually, customers will want to upgrade and replace their existing equipment with new solutions from NICE. Customers operating in a country which is a member of the European Community (EU), or in other areas where similar regulations are being introduced will need to dispose of their existing equipment in accordance with the EU’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.

NICE complies with this legislation and is registered as compliant in all the European countries (UK, France and Germany) where we have a legal presence. NICE will recycle all equipment supplied to our customers after August 2005 and returned to NICE, in all those countries (UK, France and Germany) where we have a legal presence or are the importer of such equipment. We will do this by means of expert companies who will collect, deconstruct and recycle the materials used without causing any environmental damage, as required by WEEE.

In all other countries, of the EU our channel partners are responsible for collection, deconstruction and recycling of NICE products.

For more detailed information on recycling NICE equipment in the EU area, please contact EMEA logistics +44 (0) 1489 771677 . The full WEEE directive is available online. For a complete overview of the supplementary and secondary legislation concerning WEEE, please go to the EU environment site.
